After Tyson Fury's fight, Deontay Wilder may be ready to say goodbye to boxing.

At 35 years old, this could be his final fight, and he has no rematch clause.

Wilder stated, speaking on the Last Stand Podcast: "I feel it getting closer, retirement."

"I am looking for one champion, one face and one name.

"If I do [that], the only way I can retire is if it's possible for me to."

"The quicker I can do that, the sooner I can retire and get out of here."

Wilder's victory over Fury would allow him to fight Oleksandr Uzyk for the title of undisputed heavyweight champion if the Ukrainian defeats Anthony Joshua.

When asked if Usyk was his top hitlist, the Bronze Bomber replied: "Most definitely. I like the things Usyk says.

"He predicted I would knock Fury out. He said he didn't doubt Joshua would knock him out. After that, he wanted to go straight to it because he is older and he means business.

"I believe he is an honorable man. He will keep his word, I believe.

"Many people get the belt and then act funny with it, but with him, it is a warrior and something I look forward to.

"This is it. This is to end the book about me and Fury. This is it.

Ironically Fury suggested that he might hang up his gloves following this weekend's showdown and never face Joshua.

He said this on BBC's 5 Live podcast: "Listen, today I could walk away and never look back at boxing." It's impossible to take what I've done away.

What does Tyson Fury and Deontay Wester look like before the trio fight?

"People will always remember Tyson Fury, the mad man who fought everyone. He didn't care about anyone.

"Even the most powerful punchers of our generation didn’t intimidate him. Went across the pond and fought [Wladimir] Klitschko.

"No one can speak about me except that I did what it was I did, and I'm proud of it."
