His trainer Malik Scott stated that DEONTAY WILDER has never been so hungry in his three-fight series with Tyson Fury.
Fury was scheduled to defend the WBC Heavyweight Title against Wilder on July 24th, but he was diagnosed with coronavirus.

The fight was pushed back to October 9th, giving Scott more time to train with him, his new head coach. Scott is the man that he beat in 2014.
Wilder is determined to take revenge for his defeat by the Gypsy King, February 2020. His hatred towards his rival only grows.
When Scott was asked why Wilder, 35, is so confident over Fury, 32, Scott replied, "Well, for one, because I'm training he now.
"For two, I've never witnessed him so hungry before and I've never witnessed him so open to the craft.
"And I've never witnessed him want to destroy another man so badly."
Wilder drew Fury in 2018, but Fury won the rematch two year later. This included a contract trilogy.
The coronavirus pandemic delayed the fight. However, the Gypsy King attempted to walk away from his obligation believing that the stipulation was over.
The 31-year-old Anthony Joshua agreed to fight him in Saudi Arabia in August while Wilder claimed his right to an instant rematch in arbitration.
Fury won the fight in the eleventh hour. Fury was then asked to fight his heavyweight opponent.
After a series of delays, Wilder finally has his chance with destiny. Scott insists that he is not concerned about overtraining.
He replied, "Not at all. He said, "Not at all. My only concern is that this scrnario has an admitted headcase.
"My concern is Fury not showing up."
