DEONTAY WILDER claims that Tyson Fury will have to retire due to a mysterious problem.
According to Fury, the circumstances beyond his control will bring an end to the ongoing drama over Fury's status as an active fighter.
Wilder wins their last trilogy bout, Fury takes a left on Wilder
Wilder was twice defeated by Fury in their epic trilogy. Fury won the Bronze Bomber's WBC crown.
Wilder also claims Fury will be able to hang up his gloves, opening up the heavyweight division ahead of the big clash between Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua.
Wilder said to Boxing News 24 & Fighthype, "Yeah. I think he will have to retire. He'll have to. Yes, there's a lot going on.
"I don't even want to get into it but it looks like he will have to.
All things are possible once that happens. I don't want to give out too much information. It's not something I want to talk about.
"There will be many changes in the division and opportunities. We have a lot more things lined up." Keep watching."
Next month, Wilder will face Robert Helenius in Brooklyn (New York).
It seems like he still hopes to be a world champion, particularly if Usyk defeats BritAJ in Saudi Arabia.
Wilder said, "I'm going to fight with Joshua.
"I have said that. "I'm sticking to my word in this fight."
