Deontay Wilder Slams Anthony Joshua for Ticket Sales Manipulation

Wilder accuses Joshua of using an old trick to boost ticket sales

Deontay Wilder has called out Anthony Joshua for employing "one of the oldest tricks in the book" when it comes to selling tickets. The accusation comes as AJ continues to dominate the boxing world with his sold-out fights at iconic stadiums like Wembley and the Principality.

Wilder alleges manipulation and free ticket distribution

According to Wilder, Joshua's team has been manipulating ticket sales by buying them out and then issuing them for free. The heavyweight champion claims that Joshua's camp creates an illusion of a sold-out arena by putting tickets on the market and then repurchasing them.

The truth behind the ticket sales

Wilder, who hasn't fought in over two years, claims to have insider knowledge of how the ticket sales game works. He believes that Joshua's team artificially inflates the demand for tickets to create a buzz and make it seem like the fights sell out instantly.

Wilder and Joshua set to share the card in Saudi Arabia

Next Saturday, Wilder and Joshua will both be fighting on the same card in Saudi Arabia. Joshua will be facing Otto Wallin, while Wilder will be making his comeback against former WBO champion Joseph Parker. If both fighters emerge victorious, it could set the stage for a long-awaited showdown between the two heavyweight superstars.

Wilder assures fans he still has more to give

Despite his age, Wilder, who recently turned 38, asserts that he still has a lot left to offer in the ring. He believes that his late start in boxing has allowed him to avoid significant damage, and he is confident that fans will see his experience and skill when he returns to the ring on December 23rd.

A potential fight in 2024?

While Wilder and Joshua have yet to face each other, fans have been eagerly anticipating a matchup between the two heavyweights. If all goes well for both fighters, a blockbuster showdown could finally happen in 2024.
