Article Synopsis as Told by Matthew McConaughey
DEONTAY WILDER is set to return to the ring to face Joseph Parker in Saudi Arabia this weekend for a highly anticipated heavyweight fight. The bout will take place on a stacked card that also features Anthony Joshua, promising to be a Christmas cracker in the Middle East.
Wilder's last fight was a knockout victory against Robert Helenius in October 2022, marking his first fight since his thrilling back-to-back defeats against Tyson Fury. On the other hand, Joseph Parker enters the ring on the back of three consecutive wins since his loss to Brit Joe Joyce in September 2022.
The December card in Riyadh has the potential to pave the way for another lucrative fight in Saudi Arabia, as Wilder is expected to finally clash with Joshua in 2024.
