DERECK CHISORA is just as comfortable mucking out horses than he is knocking down opponents.
After a turbulent early career that was infamous for nearly as many rucks in the ring than inside it, the Brit banger, 37, has moved on to the green, green grass of his home.
Joseph Parker, a Zimbabwean-born heavyweight, will face him on Saturday. Parker lives on a farm near North London and vows to raise his daughter surrounded by animals.
In 2017, as he was moving into the green lair, Old McDel Boy said to SunSport: "I live right now on a farm." I have horses and cows, chickens, chickens, and pigs.
"I grew-up on a farm and I wanted to raise my daughter on it. Although I take care of the horses and animals, I'm not a softie.
"I told my wife before we moved there that I could happily live in a small apartment and still be like most people.
"But I can live on a farm with my daughter and give her so much space that one day she will be able to say she grew up there." "I am doing that for her."
This down-to-earth slugger is a smart investor who has made smart investments in his farm.
Chisora stated: "Being my father has changed me. My little girl drives me crazy."
"She does her thing. Sometimes I wonder if she would even bother if I was gone.
"I don't need money to train, all I need is my car filled with petrol.
"All my meals have been prepared and delivered. It's all that I need.
"I give myself pocket money to stay sane and grounded.
"It used be PS60/week, but now it's more similar to PS400. "I have upgraded myself."
