Alexander Povetkin was defeated by Dillian Whyte in March via KO.

Wallin beat Dominic Breazeale, an ex-Anthony Joshua opponent, and Deontay Wilder rival back in February.

Whyte is preparing for a fight against Fury for some time. The winner will face Deontay Wilder, the Gypsy King's champion this weekend.

Dillian Whyte should be able to defeat Otto Wallin

What have you heard?

"He's a bit of a brawler, but he can also box a little," Wallin said.

He's a great left hooker and a good puncher, so these are things I have to pay attention to.

"I believe that having hard fights like this is a long-term toll. He's had two knockouts, he's received a lot punishment, and he's been injured in other fights.

Eddie Hearn, Whyte's promoter, stated that "as long as Dillian defeats Otto Wallin then Whyte will be mandatory for the winner."

It's impossible not to. Dillian, who would have liked AJ to win 100 percent, is not like that.

"He is now a mandatory challenger to Wilder-Fury's winner."

Who is Otto Wallin

Wallin made waves in September 2019 when he defeated Tyson Fury.

Fury was hoping to make the Swede a smooth touch as he was getting ready for his rematch against Deontay Wilder.

Fury was then cut by Wallin's left hooks during the fourth round.

It required attention during the fight, and 47 stitches after the bout.

After his fight against Otto Wallin, Tyson Fury needed 47 stitches.

Wallin won the TKO win due to the possibility that the fight might have been stopped because of the severe cut.

Fury held on to her win and was awarded a close victory on the judges' scorecards.

Wallin has since recouped with two wins. One was against Breazeale back in February.
