Tyson Fury was due to meet the winner.

The 33-year old had been at camp in Portugal and was scheduled to fly to the UK in the beginning of next week.

A stacked London show was scheduled for Saturday 30th October to feature the huge heavyweight clash.

The outcome of the event is uncertain.

Tyson Fury was to be the winner of his WBC heavyweight title next year.

Wallin will also be disappointed by the news, as he was trying to force Fury to rematch with Fury by upsetting Britain’s Whyte.

He suffered his only professional loss to the Gypsy King in 2019, but the Swede gave the current WBC champ a great scare.

Wallin made a large cut just above Fury's eyes that nearly ended the fight.

Dmitriy Salaita, Wallin's promoter said recently that "out all the great fighters, Tyson Fury beats the one fighter who gave him the most trouble, caused the most controversy with the cut and who landed more punches then Wladimir Klitschko or Deontay Wilder during their first fights combined was Otto Wallin."

"Otto has had two impressive victories since that bout and a win against Whyte would make Fury the most eligible opponent and, in my opinion, the second-best heavyweight fighter in the world based upon merit.

"Otto keeps getting better. Whyte's fight is a huge test. It will be a great opportunity to rematch the WBC heavyweight champion.

For over three years, Impatient Whyte waited for his shot at the world title.

He was on the verge of securing it, but plans fell apart when he was knocked out by Alexander Povetkin last season.

The Body Snatcher has avenged his March loss, but now looks like he will have to wait a bit longer to get his chance at glory.
