Dillian Whyte and Tyson Fury must reach an agreement TODAY, or the purse bids will be called during Oleksandr Usyk's step aside talks

Dillian Whyte and TYSON FURY have until 6pm TODAY for a deal before purse bidding is called by the WBC.

Fury has given Whyte the mandate to create Fury's green and gold heavyweight belt. However, their rivals have yet to come to an agreement.

The title fight will be decided by purse bids. If there is no deal, the winner of the purse bid will be the one who wins the right to stage it.

The WBC has delayed the purse bids at least three times since Fury and Whyte requested it.

As it stands now, it will not be sold if there is no deal. Fury's US promoters Frank Warren and Bob Arum will auction it off against Eddie Hearn.

After Whyte (33 years old) was finally granted his long-awaited title shot, the WBC stated that he would receive only a 20% share of earnings if it went towards purse bids.

The fuming competitor appealed, arguing that his interim belt warrants a maximum of 45%.

And while Whyte protested his possible split, Fury (33), has been in negotiations with Oleksandr Uzyk in the Middle East for an undisputed title determiner.

This makes matters more complicated as Usyk (34), is signed to a rematch immediately with Anthony Joshua (32) who he defeated of the WBA and IBF belts in September.

Both AJ and Whyte will need to pay a fee for the right to participate in the unification process.

Joshua's figure is thought to be PS15m, while Whyte is PS5m.

Although AJ denied reports that he had accepted a step-out deal, he did not rule out the possibility.

He stated that he heard people say, "AJ accepts PS15m to be resigned". He said: "I haven't signed any contract, I haven't seen any contract."

"So it is, stop listening to bulls*** until I get it from you.

"I am the man who controls my destiny and I manage my business."

Fury said later on social media, "Tick, tick and tock." Will Whyte fight me? Is Joshua going away?

"I am sick of staring at these bums. "I am tired of hearing their excuses."

Promoters will need to get step-aside fees approved by the WBC in order to allow unification to take precedence over the mandatory defense.

If AJ or Whyte don't accept a deal before the purse bids call today, then all hopes of a historic four-belt heavyweight unification are doomed.
