Hearn and Frank Warren, Fury's promoter, will now have to wait until Friday January 21st for their first bids.

Hearn spoke to BBC Radio 5 Live and stated that he received an email over the weekend indicating that Friday was the official date for the first bid.

"Who knows if that will change? There's a lot going on behind the scenes there are a lot of discussions.

"Obviously, there is the legal situation between Dillian & the WBC as well, but we are looking to move on.

"I think people continue to talk about March dates and other stuff like that. That's becoming very unrealistic.

"Dillian wants a fight, he hasn’t boxed since March last year.

"Hopefully, we can move with purse bids if necessary or complete a deal."

WBC ordered Fury to fight Whyte, with Warren suggesting that a March date in Britain is possible.

The WBC also stated that Whyte would only receive 20% of the overall purse. This has upset the Brit.

Whyte responded by launching a legal fight to increase his share. However, he is likely not to stop fighting Fury no matter what the Court of Arbitration decides.
