Otto Wallin was offered Alen Babic to replace Dillian Whyte, who is currently in serious condition

Wallin is furious that Tyson Fury has had a big-money fight cancelled after he slashed a 47 stitch gash into his eye in 2019.

Whyte offered Babic, his protege and sparring partner, to take on the angry visitor.

Wallin and Dmitry Salita, the promoter, have tried to claim that Whyte has inflicted an injury to get out of the fight.

Babic, a 30-year-old fan favourite who credits Whyte for making him a cult-boxing hero, is furious and seeks revenge.

Wallin dismissed Babic initially as a stand in opponent. Carlos Molina was left to face the original undercard opponent.

The visitor and his team insist on paying for their efforts. A last-minute fight with the ex-nightclub bouncer will ensure him a check.

Babic sent a message to Wallin, saying: "If Otto Wallin wants a fight, then The Savage will respond."

Dillian Whyte pulled out to fight Otto Wallin, making the Swede's side furious.

"Nothing could make me happier than being a mentor to Dillian Whyte."

Whyte was the WBC's interim champ and was on the brink of winning a shot at a world title against Tyson Fury. His injury has left him devastated.

He said that he was too damaged to fight after a final MRI revealed that he had suffered severe injuries.

"I was looking forward and eager to knock out Wallin, and would have done it in the first part of the fight.

"I'm devastated that I won't be able to fight October 30, but I want everyone to know how much they mean to me."

However, Salita, a former fighter, has not shown much support for Whyte and is urging the sanctioning body that the fight be postponed.
He stated that the fight with Otto and Whyte should be rescheduled.

It's up the WBC to do right and order Whyte fight Otto at a later date. It's not impossible.

"Dillian Whyte should not be rewarded for pulling out this fight with an injury. He should continue fighting Tyson Fury to win the title in his next bout."
