Dillian Whyte is getting ready for "WAR" with Tyson Fury, but is "very relaxed" for grudge match since the contract deadline has been set

DILLIAN WHYTE is adopting a 'WAR" mindset in preparation for his long-awaited battle with Tyson Fury.

Fury is expected to challenge the Brixton banger for the WBC heavyweight title. However, signed contracts for their grudge match are still to be submitted to the governing body.

The 33-year-old Whyte has been quiet since Frank Warren won the bid to clash former sparring partners, but quietly has been getting ready for a battle for the ages.

Spencer Fearon, a boxing promoter, told Tunde Ajayi that he spoke with Whyte yesterday and that he was on one.

"Maybe it was just the time. Maybe you called him while he was at the gym. Dillian Whyte, you are a great guy. It was a pleasure to hear from you.

"I went to the barbershop along with my boy, and we had a great conversation. He was on, bruv. Are you sure what I'm referring to?"

The WBC interim heavyweight champion is not in battle mode, but that hasn't affected his judgment.

Fearon said, "He was very relaxed." Like, 'Yeah, don't worry. It's all fine.

He is like a master at his task. He is aware that it won't be easy.

"Because it's serious, Gypsy Juju Fury is serious," I tell you. It's serious, I swear.

Contracts for domestic dust-up have not been turned in because Whyte is still disputing 80/20 purse split, which would see him pocket a PS6.1million purse.

Both fighters will have until February 21st to submit their signed fight agreements to the WBC.

Whyte has not yet commented on Warren's landing in the fight, which Fury has taken as fear.
