DILLIAN WHYTE will fight Deontay wilder for the WBC world heavyweight title, if Tyson Fury has to withdraw from his rescheduled defense on compassionate grounds.
The undefeated Gypsy King has a scheduled trio bout with the American on October 9. However, he is currently at his wife Paris and Athena's bedside following the sudden death of Athena shortly after her birth.
Dillian Whyte will be available to fill in for Dillian on October 9
He has kept his daughter updated on her progress and raised money for Alder Hey, the hospital that saved her life.
John, the worried father and grandfather John, has made it clear that he will not allow his son to fly to Las Vegas to start his camp. He is concerned about his young family's safety.
According to the outspoken ex-fighter, "Nobody could have expected a boxing match would go on in such difficult times." Families are family, business is business, and sport is sports, but the family is at the top of the line.
