After Tyson Fury's right uppercut, Whyte was knocked out in round six of his world title fight.

The Brit is still hopeful of a rematch against Joshua, whom he lost in 2015 and Fury.

Before he quit the game, Whyte was also interested in American Wilder.

Sky Sports interviewed him and he said: "I still want the best fights.

"Listen, win or lose on Saturday. I would then retire after a few more fights with the best guys.

He stated: "One hundred percent. He [Fury] said it himself, "I will be the world champion one day." Let's see.

Joshua, 32, was defeated by Usyk (35), in September. However, the pair are scheduled to rematch in July. The winner could be Fury.

However, Whyte won't let defeat stop him from being there when the dust settles in the heavyweight division.

He stated, "We have to wait and watch." There are still opportunities. I am still one of the most skilled fighters.

"OK, I have lost, I need to fight again, but it is not the end of my world.

"My team is realists and will tell me straight that you're done. I would have heard them say, "Yeah, that's all, you're done."
