Dillian Whyte offers big-money to be Eddie Hearn's star attraction if Tyson Fury fight falls apart

DILLIAN WHYTE is in line for a major-money deal, even if he loses to Tyson Fury.

Eddie Hearn, Whyte's promoter, lost the purse bid. Frank Warren now controls the Body Snatcher's next bout with the Gypsy King at Wembley on April 23.

Victory on the BT Sport Show will land the 34-year-old Whyte PS9million title and the WBC heavyweight title.

However, defeat could be detrimental to his brand in advance of a move to Hearn’s DAZN streaming app broadcasters later on.

WBC mandatory challenger Whyte so far has resisted signing the dotted line, much to Team Fury's frustration.

SunSport believes Whyte's long-standing promotional partner Hearn has an appealing back-up plan.

Warren and his BT Sport supporters will not be able to see the Matchroom boss, who has his shows on streaming app DAZN. Warren is also a Matchroom backer.

Only a rematch with Anthony Joshua, and possibly a third fight with Derek Chisora, could make up the difference for a WBC World Title shot and a PS6million basic purse to challenge Fury.

Fury is still hard at work, despite the delay in signing the fight.

WBC also anticipates that the contest will be held. They even prepared a unique 'Union Belt for the occasion.

However, Whyte has remained silent throughout.

Bob Arum, Fury's US promoter, recently called him "a damn fool" for holding up the cause.

The Gypsy King has made a joke of it by creating a JustGiving page for Whyte to attend a press conference. He offered to donate 47p to the "useless dosser".

John Fury, Fury's father, believes Whyte would like to 'put in an asylum' if his son does not want to fight him for the belt.

He stated, "Get your contract signed, fight, and get your beating. Then, go on with your job."

"At the very least, you can count $8million (PS5.8m).

"But I don’t know what’s wrong with your pal - if $8m is declined, you want to put in the asylum."
