Dillian Whyte was defeated by TYSON FURY who landed twice as many punches than his opponent.
It was not surprising that the Gypsy King won, even though he did it with style and a one-punch elbow knockout.
Stats indicate that the KO was coming, as Fury was more accurate than Fury throughout.
The heavyweight world champion was able to land 31 percent of his punches after the first round.
Fury was more accurate than Whyte in punch accuracy, and Fury managed to surpass his highest of 25% in every round except the first. Fury also managed 25%.
Fury was able to find his rhythm again and began throwing 54 punches in round 5.

Whyte couldn't live with The Gypsy King's speed and strength - and sometimes could not even get close enough for Fury to touch him.
As a result, The Body Snatcher was unable to win. Round five was his most productive. However, Fury's 34 punches in that three minute period was more than his total of 34.
It's not surprising that this translated into more punches being landed. Again, Whyte's highest total of seven rounds in round five was worse then Fury's in all except the first round.
Fury landed 12 punches or more in five of the six rounds. This gradually wore down Whyte, until he lost his guard and was knocked out.
