Logan Paul Set to Fall Victim to the Drake Curse
Fans are already congratulating Dillon Danis on beating Logan Paul ahead of their fight, and it's all thanks to the infamous Drake Curse. The two are set to clash on the undercard of KSI vs Tommy Fury in Manchester on Saturday. At Thursday's press conference, Danis struck Paul in the face with a microphone, adding to the anticipation of their upcoming bout. Now, the question remains: can Paul pull through in time for the weekend fight?
Drake Backs Logan Paul with Massive Bet
Pop star Drake has placed a massive bet of nearly £700,000 on Logan Paul to win the fight. He explained his reasoning, saying, "Never bet against personal vendetta and settling scores." If Paul does win, Drake stands to receive winnings of £1.1 million. This news has left Danis feeling disrespected, as he stated, "850 (dollars) on my head is disrespect."
The Drake Curse Strikes Again
The Drake Curse is a phenomenon where athletes or teams lose after either being bet on or pictured with Drake before a big event. The curse has affected sports stars like LeBron James, Serena Williams, and Conor McGregor. It has even reached into the world of football, with teams like Arsenal, Man City, and PSG suffering defeats after being backed by Drake. Most recently, Drake bet on Israel Adesanya to retain his middleweight title, but Adesanya suffered a shocking defeat. Fans are now speculating that the Drake Curse will give Danis the win over Paul.
Overall, fans are eagerly awaiting the fight between Dillon Danis and Logan Paul, with the added excitement of the Drake Curse potentially coming into play. Will Paul be able to break the curse, or will Danis come out on top? Only time will tell.
