Don King joked that he would like to see Tyson Fury return.

After beating Deontay wilder twice, Fury became the king in the heavyweight division. Then came the all-British final.

He decided to quit the sport and pursue Oleksandr Usyk, Anthony Joshua or a undisputed crown.

King, a legendary promoter, joked to BT Sport: "I'm gonna retire Tyson Fury."

King promoted some of boxing's most important fights, such as the Rumble In the Jungle between Muhammad Ali & George Foreman in 1974.

He expressed admiration for Fury's accomplishments at the summit of the mountain following his struggle.

He didn't fight for the three years that followed, having suffered with addiction and ballooning up to 27 stone.

King said, "Tyson Fury's a human being." He got involved with drugs and other things.

"He never lost, but he quit because of his humanistic problems. I had great respect for him when we came back.

"He was back at the top. He now claims he is retired, but he might come out of retirement after all this.

"But nevertheless, the Fury boys were good people."
