EBANIE BRIDGES achieved her lifelong goal last month, becoming a world boxing champion.
After years of hard work, her success story at 35 has required many sacrifices by the Aussie star.
Ebanie Bridges revealed that she is ready to give up motherhood after becoming IBF champion
SunSport spoke of one of her biggest regrets: she had to put motherhood on hold in order to pursue her career, which has been steadily growing in the UK.
SunSport exclusively learned that she has a battle with cancer and is very sad.
"Having a family and having children is what I want. It is very important to me.
It's becoming harder and more difficult to make the right decision. I am at the top of my career and it is difficult to stop and have children with my partner back home.

"My career is over here. It's not in Australia. I cannot have a baby, then go and find someone to care for it and travel to the UK for weeks.
"It's impossible, it's difficult for me, it is hard for my spouse.
"But, I must follow my heart and believe everything happens for reasons.
"I'm just praying that in a few years, I can achieve what I want and can go on and have children."
Bridges has previously spoken out about the sacrifices she made, such as training in the UK and living with her boyfriend in Australia.
However, her hard work paid off when she beat Maria Cecilia Roman from Argentina to win the IBF title.
