Boxing Champ Ebanie Bridges Teams Up with Conor McGregor
Ebanie Bridges, the IBF bantamweight champion, has announced her plans for retirement as she enters into a business partnership with UFC legend Conor McGregor. Bridges is set to defend her belt against Miyo Yoshida in San Francisco this weekend, and she will do so sponsored by McGregor's Forged Irish Stout. The collaboration between Bridges and McGregor goes beyond just sponsorship, as they plan to work together for the remainder of Bridges' career. Bridges expressed her admiration for McGregor's business ventures and believes she can learn a lot from him. She stated, "I'm great for his brand and he's great for my brand, and we get along really well."
McGregor's Return to the Octagon
While Bridges prepares for her upcoming fight, McGregor is also gearing up for his return to the octagon. The Irishman has been out of action since July 2021 when he suffered a leg injury in a bout against Dustin Poirier. McGregor is set to make his comeback next year against Michael Chandler, and Bridges has seen clips of his intense training sessions. Although she doesn't follow his social media closely, Bridges is confident that McGregor is putting in the work to prepare for his next fight.
It seems that both Bridges and McGregor have found a mutually beneficial partnership that extends beyond their respective sports careers. As Bridges steps into the ring and McGregor prepares to make his comeback, their collaboration will certainly be one to watch.
