This weekend, Devon Larratt and Hafthor Bojnsson will be facing off in an arm wrestling match

The Briton, 33, is optimistic of winning next year's clash, declaring that he can bang harder.

Hall, who had lost six stone, was scheduled to face his strongman opponent this weekend in a grudge match in boxing.

The Beast was left unable to compete after sustaining a detached bicep.

After losing nine stone, Bjornsson, 32 will take on Devon Larratt, the world's No1 arm wrestler, on Saturday.

It will be Tyson Fury's third exhibition fight in front of an audience.

Hall, however, has raised questions about the validity and intensity of the two previous fights. He claimed that Bjornsson's opponent were told to take it easy with 'tickles.

Muscle and Health was informed by him that he had been participating in some excellent exhibition fights, and not just sparring. He said that he is now getting in the ring alongside guys who are determined to knock me off my head and that's what it all about.

It's all about trying to take someone’s head off. You won't experience this unless you are actually in the ring with someone who is trying to take your head off.

You can pretend to be Thor, and have all these fake exhibition fights in which guys tell you to tickle your head and not take your head off. But that won't help you. It's only teaching you how to be tickled.

Hall also took aim at Bjornsson’s punching technique and claimed that the Icelandic giant hasn’t thrown one that could cause harm.

This will give the British behemoth an edge next year.

Hall said, "Since we began prepping for the fight 18 months ago I haven't seen one punch that Thor has thrown onto a heavy bag, on someone, or on any mitt that made me think, ‘wow, that could cause some injury.’

"I have never seen a punch that could cause injury to anyone. Thor pushes all boundaries. His punches are not snappy.

"I am the complete opposite. Every punch I throw feels snappy. It makes a crisp, crisp sound in the bag and on the headgear of the opponent.

"I know that I can bang faster and harder than he can, evidently."
