EDDIE HEARN proved that it wasn't just his boxers who have a mean right handed by beating Tony Bellew on a punching machine.
Hearn, Matchroom Boxing chief, and Bellew, former WBC cruiserweight champion tried their luck at setting a new record on the DAZN Boxing Show punch machine on Saturday night.
Eddie Hearn landed a heavy straight right on Eddie's punch bag
Hearn responded to the challenge of cracking that bag by saying: "I'm going to take my jacket off.
"Right, okay. I'm going to hit it with a straight, right hand down the pipe."
The promoter shocked viewers with a powerful right-hand display that scored 935.
Bellew was impressed and said, "Heavy-handed that." Bravo, Ed.
The retired Bellew attempted to score more points with his famous left hook moments later.
Hearn stated that "Your left hook was always equalizer."
The Bomber was able to catch the bag with a corker-of-a hook, but he wasn't pleased with his connection and said: "That's probably not going to register as well."
Hearn was excited and responded, "Oh please let him beat me!"
Bellew's strike was a success, scoring only 926 points, nine less than the Matchroom boss's.
One boxing fan commented, "F***king hell Eddie's got a dig at him!"
Another one said, "He hits harder then Warrington for sure lol."
Another said, "Eddie has been spending time at the Reynoso camp."
One remarked: "Eddie Hearn V Logan Paul? Huge PPV event."
