Joshua and Hearn activated a rematch clause. AJ will fight Usyk in the first quarter of next year.

Sky Sports' Hearn said that AJ was already in camp mentally and physically for the Usyk rematch. It is all he has been thinking about since the night before the fight.

"I have a meeting with Alex Krassyuk, [Usyk’s promoter], to begin working on venues proposals for the spring rematch.

"It's a big fight, and we believe AJ could become a three time world heavyweight champion."

Krassyuk hopes that a site for the next fight can be agreed upon before 2021 ends.

Sky Sports was informed by him that there are three options: Ukraine, the UK and the Middle East.

"Hopefully, by the end 2021, we'll be able to make the final decision."

Tyson Fury had, however, hoped to organize an undisputed fight against the Ukrainian.

He missed the WBC's window for setting up a fight and now the WBC could order him to face mandatory Dillian Whyte in a British showdown.
