Eddie Hearn, BOXING promoter, gave an honest assessment of Jake Paul's skills on YouTube.
Hearn called Paul's ability "average" in a Q&A, but he insists he was complimenting Paul.
They sat down to interview DAZN during the Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano fight. It quickly descended into chaos when Paul took offence at Hearn's jab.
Hearn began the interview by saying, "He fought AnEsonGib, who was terrible on that night, and Jake looked pretty average because Gib was terrible too."
Paul refuted this and suggested that his ability to judge his abilities was not properly assessed due to the fight's short duration.
After some quick back and forth, the promoter replied once more: "That's True, That's True." I don't know where your future might take you. I give you the average place I believe you are at, which is where I am entitled to.

The killer line was then delivered by him: "Average is very complimentary."
Hearn had previously stated that Paul would never win a boxing world title.
Paul's YouTube channel has 20.4 million subscribers. However, he switched to boxing in 2018 and now has over 20 million subscribers.
His first fight was undercard to the KSI vs Logan Paul bout. It attracted more than 2.25 million live viewers.
