Although Whyte has yet to comment publicly on the grudge match however, Hearn said it was because he had better things to focus on.

On The MMA Hour, he stated that he had not received a contract. It's not uncommon, but it's not what we have.

It's a process that you have to go through. Someone told me that I've been quiet, but that I have lost the purse bid. It's not my fight for promotion.

"He's just chilling and training. Fury can be dealt with, and sometimes it's okay to just be quiet.

Do you really want to engage in a slanging match against Fury and expend all of that energy? Do your homework, train hard and then go knock Fury out.

"There is no discussion about another direction. This is the only direction. This is the fight."

After receiving only 20% of the cut, Whyte (33), is locked in a dispute over the WBC.

The No1 contender claimed that his interim title should give him up to 45% and is currently appealing the split.

Hearn was faced with the possibility of giving the Gypsy King 80 percent of his PS23.5m bid. He refused to let his ego take over and paid the price.

Fury, 33 years old, has been vocal since Frank Warren, his promoter, won the rights to the fight and urged Whyte to come out from hiding' amid his silence.

He posted the following Instagram message: "Whyte Feathers, coward. Where are you Whyte feathers?

"You wanted to be a world champion with Deontay Wilder for three consecutive years. But you never got it.

"It was three minutes that you were required to fight you, and you won your fight, weren't you coward?" "Tyson Fury is a coward and he doesn't want Dillian Whyte to fight him,"

"But then it's on your feet and you've gone silent, little b ****. Get out of hiding Whyte feathers. It's your right to have it.

"You're getting a good hide, you wanted some free money didn't yosser?"

"But now, you're getting eight millions, which is seven and-a-half times more for you, you old dosser. Bum, come out and speak up.
