Hearn, a Matchroom promoter who works with Fury's opponent Anthony Joshua, believes that there will be a major shock in the Big Apple.
During an appearance on MMA Hour, he was asked if he believed Paul would beat Fury. He replied, "I think he probably does." They are about the same level.
Jake's problem is that you have to listen to him. You can't help but be drawn in by his confidence.
"So, I am now drawn in to the confidence and putting him on my list as a man who deserves to become a boxer.
"On paper Tommy Fury should win easily. But then, when you see Tommy Fury, you realize that you are not very good.
"But the best thing about this fight is that it is a 50/50 fight. It doesn't really matter if it's a match-up. You can still enjoy it.
"And that's 50/50, I don’t know who's going to win."
Hearn thinks it could be career suicide.
He said, "If Tommy Fury loses it is truly the most embarrassing thing to ever happen to him."
"If Jake loses his job, it's over." It's exciting, therefore.
