EDDIE HEARN believes Anthony Joshua is still a greater star than Tyson Fury despite Oleksandr Usyk's loss.
Joshua's second reign of unified heavyweight champion ended last weekend with a stunning performance by the undefeated Ukrainian.
Hearn said that the Watford warrior was defeated in front of a sold-out crowd at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Hearn believes this is another proof of his star power.
He said to iFL TV, "He's [Joshua] at such a higher level commercially than Tyson Fury right now.
"He is the most popular heavyweight boxer, especially in the UK. Tyson Fury and his entire team are aware of this truth.
"If Joshua beats Usyk he's on a different level and coming off a defeat.
"He is still the greatest draw in the division. It was there last Saturday. Take a look at the photos.
"See the other guys trying to draw images like this in the UK. It's impossible.
Joshua received a boxing lesson from Usyk (slick southpaw), who was part of a select group that won heavyweight gold as a former cruiserweight.
However, Gyspy King Fury refused to laugh at his opponent's latest defeat - even though it could end their long-awaited showdown.
He stated that he was not concerned about Joshua or Usyk and that he would not be able to get offended by anyone.
"I won't kick anyone who is down. I don't want to kick someone who is mentally ill or down.
"There is no secret or rocket science to winning the rematch. Fighters try to make it technical by downloading data and all that bulls**t.
"If it's not working out, then you can change it and try something else.
"Don't be a coulda-shoulda-woulda man.
Joshua's best advice is to stay focused, keep his front foot forward, and swing away, swingaway.
Joshua, 31 years old, has already used the rematch clause in his contract to meet his Olympic gold medallist.
Hearn insists that the showdown between the two will not be a repeat of their first.
He stated that AJ could win the rematch. However, he is not a good candidate.
"You will see a new Anthony Joshua in this fight. That's our excitement. Now revenge and the disappointment of defeat.
"We've been there before, and now we are a three-time heavyweight champion in the world. This is the new dream. He will do his job.
I am excited about the rematch. If he does it (which I believe he can), he will be on a whole different level.
"This game plan does not include box and move. It is to go in on Usyk and cause him pain."
