Eddie Hearn revealed that Oleksandr Usyk met with his manager in the UK to discuss where Anthony Joshua will be rematch.

OLEKSANDR USYK is in the UK with his manager to discuss the possibility of OLEKSANDR USYK rematching Anthony Joshua. This is expected to take place in May or June.

Usyk was the last Brit when he defeated AJ of WBA, IBF, and WBO unified belts.

After talks that failed to resolve a title decider with Tyson Fury's, the Ukrainian will now face Joshua.

Eddie Hearn, promoter of the Middle East site, has held negotiations for a deal.

Joshua might be able to get home advantage once more, with Usyk returning from the scene of the crime to negotiate.

DAZN was told by Hearn that he had just returned from the Middle East.

"We have had many meetings with different countries of the Middle East to fight that war.

"Had a conversation with Daniel Levy, Tottenham, which was the location of the first fight, they really want the rematch back then, I love that idea as well.

"Egis Klymass and Oleksandr Uzyk are in the UK this week, so we're going sit down with them to just talk about everything."

Joshua, 32, invoked his right for an immediate rematch against Usyk (35), immediately after his 12-round loss last December.

Saudi backers also funded cash and talked to Fury, 33, about stepping in and unifying all the belts.

Negotiations were close to the finish, but AJ's step-aside agreement for AJ was canceled. Usyk will now fight AJ.

Fury will continue his WBC mandatory title defense against Dillian Whyte (33), on April 23rd, likely at Wembley.

The undisputed talks left AJ in the lurch, and his rematch against Usyk may be pushed back to June.

Hearn stated that "We are now at a point where we're going start to think about securing an appropriate date, which will be either the end of May or the beginning of June."

"There is nothing stopping Anthony Joshua from taking on that fight."
