TYSON FURY's and Anthony Joshua's clashes against Dillian Whyte or Oleksandr Uzyk will be held in April and May, respectively - if Eddie Hearn wins tonight’s purse bid.
At 6pm, the WBC will receive purse bids for this long-awaited Battle of Britain between Fury & Whyte.
Tyson Fury is set to defend his WBC heavyweight title
Hearn, Matchroom Boxing chief, is one of the bidders in the domestic dust-up. He plans to have Fury fight Joshua in rapid succession if he wins.
He said to iFL TV, "April 29th is the date if you win the purse bid. We have to fight by that date."
"So we must fight that battle by then. That's Fury against Whyte.
"AJ, I believe will be a bit later. That'll probably be May. Fury-Whyte will be in April, I believe. If we win the bid.
"If Frank [Warren] wins, maybe he does [it] on a different day."
Hearn, who has a lucrative deal with streaming platform DAZN, will do everything to land Fury's and Whyte’s mouthwatering clash.
He said, "We're going be very aggressive. It would be a major coup.
"But, as I mentioned earlier, it's sometimes not easy to be on the small side of the split.
But it depends. It depends. There's still a lot to do today.
Fury's showdown against Whyte was a big step closer to becoming a reality this week after a step-aside agreement for Joshua to forgo his match with Oleksandr Usyk, unified heavyweight champion, fell through.
Hearn claims that the Gypsy King was responsible for the collapse of the undisputed bout.
He stated to iFL TV, "The truth of the situation is that we would be willing for a long-form agreement with a Plan for AJ.
"But we are not at that stage. Tyson Fury was able to discuss the topic - Fury does not want to fight Usyk in my opinion.
"Because he was able to do it through these conversations and really, when it came to it, it was really down to it, it was really not something he wanted to.
"Fury would like to have a March one, and that's all he wants.
"Now, he will have to fight DillianWhyte. And by the way, after all this kerfuffle he'll be beat by DillianWhyte. He'll get knocked unconscious by DillianWhyte.
"But, the truth is, he didn't want to fight Oleksandr Uzyk when it came down to it."
"Because he could have gone straight into Oleksandr Uzyk's fight, but he didn’t want to fight Oleksandr Uzyk.
"But that's not what you'll ever hear, and that's exactly what the public will never hear." Fury will only be heard on Instagram screaming and shouting using smoking mirrors.
