Eddie Hearn reveals the reason Anthony Joshua tore Oleksandr Usyks belts from his ring, before giving a rambling speech about the ring.

ANTHONY JOSHUA threw Oleksandr Uzyk's belts out of the ring because he's a 'lost faith in the boxing system', according to Eddie Hearn.

Before his bizarre speech, AJ was clearly frustrated by losing to Uysk for the second time. He also threw two Uysk belts over the ropes.

Eddie Hearn, a boxing promoter, has spoken out about Anthony Joshua's reaction after losing to Oleksandr Uzyk.

Hearn, his promoter, has provided some insight into what went through the mind of the British fighter at that time.

IFL TV interviewed him and he said that he had held on to the belts for a while. The governing bodies charged him a lot and placed a lot more mandates on him.

"And I think that he's lost much faith in the system, and I think that he stopped being interested in fighting for belts anymore.

"I believe he wants to be challenged and have fun.

He wanted to be undisputed. But a lot of it was frustration. He quit the ring because he knew he was going to do something stupid and he made a decision that he couldn't just leave.

He went back into the ring and gave a speech. It was pure emotion. It was pure emotion.

Joshua, 32, was unable to regain control of his body as he started his bizarre speech.

He had relaxed after the bout interview and admitted that he let himself down. "I acted from pure passion and emotion, and when it isn't controlled, it ain’t great.

"I love this sport so, SO much. I'll be even better from now on.

"I had two fights with Usyk, and one with my emotions. Both got the better me.

It was pure heart. I was mad at my self. I was mad at myself, not at anyone. As with anyone else, you can do stupid things when you are angry. So I was mad."

Joshua has been swept aside by Usyk twice, and now Tyson Fury is in his sights for a highly anticipated match.

Bob Arum, Fury's promoter, claimed that it could be the most important fight since Joe Frazier faced Muhammed Ali.

Joshua is still in the running to fight Fury, according to a SunSport exclusive. However, he will need to rebuild his career first.
