Serrano lost to the 'Bray Bomber,' in a split decision at MSG last before a reported sellout crowd in April of 19,187.

It was scored by Taylor 97-93, 96-93 by Taylor and 9693 by the ringside judges. The third judge deemed it a Serrano fight at 96-24.

Speaking with Eddie Hearn, Taylor's promoter for Pro Boxing Fans says that Jake Paul was the MVP promotion's head and doesn't want to fight again in Ireland.

Hearn stated that they don't want to fight, unfortunately. They aren't going to Ireland, they don't want a rematch.

"It was almost like, regardless of the offer that we didn't want the rematch."

Hearn said that he believes Serrano needs another fight to gain confidence.

Promoter: MVP fighter would like an August bout. He suggested that the rematch could take place in 2023.

He said, "Maybe it can be done next year."

Serrano stated on Twitter that she would return to the ring in the summer, possibly as part of Jake Paul's undercard against Tommy Fury from Love Island.

Taylor's potential Croke Park show for Serrano is unlikely to take place due to his inability.

All parties have taken a step back in order to reassess whether a stadium fight is possible in Ireland because of PPV times and weather conditions.

The news could open the doors to Holly Holm's possible return to boxing as a former UFC bantamweight champion.

Holly Holm, a MMA ace, recently admitted that she would love to fight Katie Taylor in future.

'The Preacher's Daughter' has just suffered a controversial split decision loss to Ketlen Vieira in her UFC fight in May.

Holm, a former world champion boxer, will be inducted into International Boxing Hall of Fame in June. In Canastota (N.Y.), she will be inducted into the Class of 2022.

Holm is the most decorated combat sport history female and would be an even bigger draw than Serrano.

Katie Taylor admitted last year that she might be in a super-fight against MMA legends Cris Cborg and Holly Holm.

The Bray icon talked about her future plans and Ariel Helwani's future on The MMA Hour. Holm was not excluded from a possible bout in the future.
