Joshua was defeated by Usyk at Spurs’ stadium. The football ground and other US venues were also in use to host the second fight.
Saudi backers, who brought Joshua to the Middle East in 2019, appear to have won this race again.
Although July 23 was originally the planned date, delayed talks have made it impossible to schedule the fight. Instead, August 20th is now the preferred date.
