Eddie Hearn supports Dana White's theory that Jake Paul's fight against Hasim Rahman Jr was cancelled.

EDDIE HEAR says Jake Paul pulled out of his showdown against Hasim Rahman Jr. because of low ticket sales.

Due to Rahman Jr's alleged 11-hour request, the YouTuber turned boxer cancelled the Madison Square Garden fight. The fight was to be contested at 215lbs.

But Eddie Hearn is in agreement with Dana White's assertion that poor ticket sales are to blame

Eddie Hearn, chief of Matchroom Boxing, believes that The Problem Child's inability sell the historic MSG is what caused the fight to be cancelled.

Hearn stated that he didn't know about pay-per view sales, but tickets weren’t going well during an Instagram Live Q&A.

Hearn's analysis on the cancellation of Paul Vs Rahman is similar to that of Dana White, UFC president.

Last weekend, the MMA mogul stated that they had sold less than $1million of tickets and that it costs $500,000 to turn on MSG's f***ing lights.

WEIGHT, WHAT?

Jake Paul is accused of being scared to lose weight against Rahman Jr

"That's my opinion. You can't forget about the high cost of transportation and hotel rooms in New York.

Rahman Jr. lost only one pound after he agreed to fight at 200lbs. This was the reason for the cancellation.

The New York State Athletic Commission refused to sanction the fight at a weight below 205lbs. Paul, however, had agreed to this.

Rahman Jr. is reported to have revealed that he would now weigh in at 215 lbs and would "pullout" of the bout, if necessary.

Paul, angry and disappointed, rants on social media: "Hasim Rahman Jr. has quit the fight."

He said, "This isn't a joke. I am devastated. We just discovered this news.

"This is yet another instance of a professional fighter, just like Tommy Fury being afraid to fight me."

He said, "It is clear as day that these men have been so unprofessionally to work with. They are looking for any excuses to suck more cash out of this event.

"To coerce and us into doing certain things, and I knew right away that this guy wasn't going to get in the rings with me."
