ERROL SPENCE JR released his top five pound for pound lists - but he was not there with Canelo alvarez at No1.
Yordenis Ulas, the unified WBC/IBF welterweight champion, was defeated by TKO in his final fight.
Errol Spence Jr. has released his top five pound-for-pound lists
Spence believes that he is the best fighter in his division. He surpasses Terence Crawford who defeated Shawn Porter in an epic fight.
The modest Texan has yet to be hailed as the greatest fighter of all time.
He explains Fox Sports' top five choices.
Canelo Alvarez - 57-1-2
Errol Sence Jr. Canelo Avarez: I would rank him number one, because he has won titles at 154 and 160, 168, and 175.
Roman Gonzalez - 51-3
ES Number 2: I'll add 'Chocolatito. His work is a huge favorite of mine.
He's just a great fighter, and I don’t think he deserves the credit he gets for beating so many opponents the way he does.
Errol Spence Jr. - 28-0
ES I would put myself at number three.
Because I am a great fighter, they have all beaten me and I'm now the undisputed champion.
In a year or so, I hope to be undisputed champion.
Terence Crawford - 38 0
ES I would put Terence Crawford at number four.
He has won titles ranging from 130 to 147. He was a great fighter and he has good skills.
Claressa Shields - 12-0
ES: Number five, I'll put Claressa Shields.
Great fighter, won titles in many divisions, put on great performances, and is just an outstanding fighter.
She could beat men if she could.
