ERROL SPENCE JR believes Canelo alvarez has what it takes to be the undisputed champion of boxing at two weights.
Canelo, a Mexican fighter of 31 years, will make the leap to light heavyweight when facing Dmitry Bivol (WBA king) on May 7.
Alvarez continues to revise the boxing record books
This comes just a year after Alvarez unified the 168lbs division, flattening Caleb Plant and becoming the first undisputed super-middleweight champion in history.
Spence, an undefeated southpaw, is certain that Canelo will be able to step up to light-heavyweight and repeat the feat.
DAZN was told by him: "I don’t know, I mean Canelo can do whatever he wants."
"He can, I believe he can. He seems to have the skills, it looks like he has the chin. I believe he can do this.
