Evander Holyfield (58) claims that Vitor Belfort's stoppage was a 'bad call' and criticizes referee for ending fight "that quickly".

EVANDER HOLYFIELD slammed the referee for preventing his comeback so early - even though Donald Trump feels his pal has 'lost a lot’ after he was defeated in the final by Vitor Belfort.

As a late replacement to Oscar De La Hoya, the 58-year old former world champion took on the gloves once more.

Vitor Belfort stopped the Real Deal in under two minutes

The legend's return was completed in just two minutes.

The fight began cagey with the "Real Deal" edging out the jab before Belfort started to move forward and Holyfield was on his hands and knees.

As things began to look bad for him, the ex-boxer hit and missed while he slipped through ropes.

Holyfield looked like he was on skates when the former UFC champion threw a punch, and was quickly dropped by a left-hand.

Belfort came forward, Holyfield tucked up, and the referee stopped the fight.

The American was determined that the official intervened too fast to end the situation.

Holyfield stated that he thought it was a poor call.

"I don’t believe the referee should've stopped the fight so quickly."

During the Triller event, Trump, the former US President, was the special guest of commentary

Holyfield admitted that he had seen from the beginning that he wasn't the same fighter after Holyfield was stopped.

"That left jab was very slow. He's lost a lot."

Belfort stopped Holyfield in the first round

Holyfield wasn't the only one who felt the verbal barb of Trump. The ex-American leader even made a slam at David Haye.

The Brit, 40, won easily over Joe Fournier in the ring.

After tumbling his opponent, he won all eight rounds.

Trump seemed unmoved by it.

After taking a few shots at Joe Biden, he summarized the Haye fight perfectly by saying: "Right now the audience likes politics more."
