It's official: Evander Holyfield will be back THIS WEEKEND.
It was supposed that it would be Oscar De La Hoya's return, but the former six-weight champion caught Covid-19. Holyfield took over.
This weekend, in Florida, Vitor Belfort will face Evander Holyfield
De Le Hoya seemed set to follow in the footsteps of Floyd Mayweather and Mike Tyson by returning to fights in the months prior to his tragic diagnosis.
Holyfield, at 58, will have the opportunity to do so, the event being moved from California to Florida after the California State Athletic Commission declined to license "The Real Deal".
What time is Holyfield vs Belfort
- The contest will take place on Saturday, September 11.
- It will be held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Florida.
- The eight-round fight will last three minutes.
- The undercard action begins at 1am BST. So expect the main event to begin around that time.4amSunday morning in the UK

Holyfield previously spoke of his desire to return to boxing and will now have that chance against Belfort.
"I like to make the most of what I have, wherever there is an opportunity. He told SunSport that he believes that if he fought Mike [Tyson], the fight would generate $200 million."

Belfort was planning to clash with Holyfield in December before the De La Hoya fight was cancelled. However, that chance will come three months earlier than expected.
