ANTHONY JOSHUA revealed that he wants Tyson Fury to defeat Dillian Whyte, even though he hates him.
After weeks of speculation Fury and Whyte have been confirmed to fight at Wembley Stadium on April 23.
Joshua (R), will support Whyte (L), against Fury
Joshua, the former unified heavyweight champion of the world, will be closely following developments.
Joshua spoke out ahead of Lawrence Okolie's clash against Michal Cislak at O2 Arena on Sunday evening. Joshua also revealed who he backs in the Fury Vs Whyte Battle of Britain.
AJ suggested that he would like to fight Whyte once again, after they first fought back as pros in 2015.
He said to iFL TV, "It's a great opponent [for Fury], and it's a strong [title] defense against Dillian Whyte.
"Dillian Whyte should come in and look at Tyson Fury's reactions and actions, and then do the opposite. Perhaps you can work on the body and train yourself to go the distance.
"But I hope Dillian trains hard [and] doesn't underestimate Tyson. Dillian's first shot, so I expect he will be hungry.
This isn't his tenth fight for the title. You can have a few hiccups along the way. He is fighting for the title for the first time.
"I root for Dillian, even if I hate him and want to smash him one day.
"Go on Dillian! I'm with You All the Way."
AJ and the Brixton Bodysnatcher’ met in the ring over six years ago for the British title. Joshua won via a seventh-round TKO.
Joshua and Fury were already planning to fight in an undisputed bout last year before a court ordered Fury into a three-man battle with Deontay Wester.

Joshua is currently preparing for a rematch against Oleksandr Usyk. However, Russia's invasion in Ukraine may pose doubts regarding that bout.
When asked if he was worried about Usyk, AJ seemed to refer to Usyk and his countrymen and former heavyweights Vitaly and Wladimirklitschko.
AJ stated: "I have learned that sport and politics go hand-in-hand, and they are powerful voices, so it's great that they're speaking out."
They're not pushing for war; they're saying "let's find peaceful solutions".
"So, good luck to them. That's all, before I start saying something wrong."
