After beating Anthony Joshua in September, Oleksandr Usyk was victorious

Fury, who defended his WBC title in October against Deontay wilder, maintained that he would like to fight the Ukrainian next.

Joshua would have to agree to be paid to watch, so Joshua has begun negotiations to make it happen.

iFL TV's Promoter Warren said: "There have been talks going on for a while and it's all come to fruition. It's got to go on now.

"It seems there is a will for this to happen. We can move forward if we can get everyone to sign an agreement without having to announce it.

"Until it's signed, it don't matter." We all want this fight between Tyson & Usyk. There is a will, and it exists. Everybody."

Joshua, 32, confusedly stated that he did not intend to step aside for Fury (33) but would consider it if the cost is right.

The Gypsy King could be placed under mandatory title defense against Dillian Whyte (33), who is the WBC interim champion.

However, Fury's fight with Whyte was canceled because of his prior legal dispute with the WBC.

An undisputed title fight might be able to replace a mandatory defense, but AJ would need to wait for Whyte's fight with Usyk.

Joshua was warned that he only has until Christmas to decide if he will rematch Usyk (34), or not.

Bob Arum, Fury's US promoter, has disclosed that Saudi Arabia is interested in hosting an undisputed showdown against Usyk in March.
