It is nearly the same as his win over AJ in 2019, which shocked the world and won the unified heavyweight title.
Fans believe Ruiz has returned to his ideal fighting weight in warning to Ortiz, 43.
One stated: "Andy Ruiz is 268lb ....." He washed AJ at the same weight. That's a positive sign.
Another commentator added: "Ruiz was 268 at the time he fought AJ, but he is holding it a lot better than that."
"Can you see that he has shed a fair amount of fat and gained a lot of muscle."
One commented: "I got Andy Ruiz knocking Ortiz out !!! Andy looks comfortable at 268. It's amazing that he doesn't look as slim.
Another commentator said, "Ruiz looks good ..."
Ruiz, 32-year-old, ballooned to 20 STONE in preparation for his match with Joshua, 32-years-old, in Saudi Arabia. He lost on points.
However, he was able to get back down to 18st 2lb in his fight against Chris Arreola (41), in May last year, although it was not a convincing win.
Ruiz was able to return to the weight that he knew best for this camp with the help Cane's fried chicken chain.
He stated, "I've done everything I was supposed to do."
"I don’t want to say too much, but yesterday we ate Cane’s - I’m not on a strict diet, you know. "I've been eating well."
