ANTHONY JOSHUA'S heavyweight fight with Oleksandr Uzyk will cost fans a hefty PS24.95 - many people are left fuming.
Joshua, 31 years old, takes on the Ukrainian at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in September 25.
To see Anthony Joshua's next fight, TV viewers will have to pay PS24.95
For the first time since Kubrat Pulev's December 2012 dispatch, his WBA, IBF, and WBO world titles belts will be up for grabs.
For those who are not able to make it to the 60,000-seater venue in North London, they will need to pay the money to see the action unfold.
Joshua vs Usyk will air in the UK on Sky Sports Box Office.
According to iFL Eddie Hearn, the promoter of the fight indicated that the broadcaster will charge nearly PS25 for it.
This fight is the final one on AJ’s Sky contract with the organization, and he will then become a broadcasting-free agent.
DAZN has streaming rights in the USA.
Sky pricing was a topic that many fans took to Twitter to voice their opinions.
One person said, "PS25 to see Usyk screwed up in England?" Nah stream will work fine."
Another said: "Don’t think I’ve ever seen a boxing TV PPV that expensive before – soon they’ll start charging 50 quid lol."
One third commented simply: "Robbed."
One user, however, did not mind at all and said: "Thought it'd be more. Sky doesn't now show as much boxing."
One final response was: "That's a typical AJ fight price."
Slick southpaw Usyk is expected to test AJ, but David Haye, an ex-heavyweight champion, believes Joshua will be able to take down The Cat before the halfway mark of the 12-round bout.
SecondsOut was informed by the former WBA titleholder: "AJ knocks Usyk off very conclusively.
"Left to right, jab, right cross that puts Usyk out or down, then it's over. 100 per cent inside six rounds.
"AJ wants it to last six rounds if it does. Because of what I saw in the Pulev fight, yes.
Since stepping up from cruiserweight, the 18-0 challenger has gained weight to match the big boys in the division.
AJ, who weighed 17st2lb in his last fight revealed that he wants to lose weight to be 'bulky with muscles screaming for oxygen'.
He also admitted that unbeaten Usyk is his most difficult challenge to date.
Joshua, Watford's king, said that it can be mentally exhausting. He is working to sharpen his mind so that he can concentrate for the 12 rounds.
"I also practice the ability to [punch] four or more times. Take your time, concentrate, and pin him down.
It's a battle for the brain. It's important to know what is in front of your face and how you can deal with it.
You can be aggressive, corner [him], or throw everything at him. You can also be patient, clever and knock him out.
