FLOYD MayweaTHER has criticised the current state in boxing and claimed that there are too many belts.
After defeating Conor McGregor in 2017, the former world champion at five-weight, 45-year-old boxer retired with a 50-0 record.
During his glittering career, he won 15 major world championships, ranging from super featherweight to light midweight.
He now says that "everybody's a champion", as he takes aim at the "watered-down" boxing scene.
FightHype interviewed Mayweather and he stated that "If you look today in the top 10, everybody's got belt now. I have never been awarded an interim belt.
"There are too many belts in boxing so boxing has been diluted." Everyone is a champion."

This means that there are at most 68 world champions. Several bodies also have "regular", franchise, and interim champions. Fighters can also hold 15 additional belts.
Mayweather isn't the only one to criticize the number of champions and belts in the sport.
He said that in 2020: "The WBC and the WBA, IBF, the IBF, and the WBO, you'all have to clean up this sh-t." This must be cleaned up.

MONEY MAYWEATHER
Mayweather claims that he earned $1MILLION from his press conference with Don Moore, which was pre-exhibition for his fight.
Money's most recent media event was held just hours after Gervonta Davis, her protege, faced off against Rolando Romero at his media day.
Davis immediately attacked his mentor via social media. Mayweather, however, defended himself.
This will be his first exhibition fight since June.
After beating McGregor, UFC's superstar fighter, Mayweather officially retired. His record is now 50-0.
Fans were not disappointed as he returned to the ring in two exhibition fights.
On December 31, 2018, he defeated Tenshin Nasukawa (23), a Japanese featherweight kickboxer, in Tokyo.
Logan Paul (27), a YouTuber, was able to take Mayweather's distance last June. He weighed TWO STONE MORE in the eight-rounder.
He will now face Moore, his sparring partner in Dubai, in an eight-rounder on Burj Khalifa’s helipad.
