BOXING legend Floyd Mayweather was paid $18million to purchase a Miami Beach mansion.
Last week, Mayweather became the owner of the Palm Island palatial with three stories.
This three-story Palm Island mansion offers many amenities
The home boasts a roof deck that spans 5,000 square feet, a private dock, a game area, and enough parking space for 10 cars.
According to the Real Deal, the retired boxer and promoter, who is also the highest-earning and wealthiest in the world, landed the nine-bedroom, one-bathroom estate at a price well below the asking price of $19.9million.
"MANY HOMES"
Mayweather already has a substantial real estate portfolio.
The man known as "Money", snatched a $10 million Las Vegas spread a week ago.
Mayweather displayed the digs by standing at the edge of a backyard fountain in a robe, in an Instagram photo.
He wrote, "At one my many homes, living a peaceful existence."
He bought a $26 million home in Beverley Hills four years ago. It is located behind the iconic Beverley Hill Hotel. The property has a private cinema for 20 people, a cocktail bar, and a separate guesthouse with its own gym.
Sell and then buy
According to the Post, the 44-year old was in desperate need of a Miami Beach address because he had unloaded another house worth $6.25m and taken a $1.5million dive.
Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy had rented the home most recently.
Mayweather, confirmed by the Real Deal, took over the Florida spread that lies across Biscayne Bay. It was managed through Fojoso LLC in Nevada.
The purchase comes after Mayweather returned to the ring for an exhibition with YouTuber-turned-boxer Logan Paul.
26-year-old heavyweight continued to fight with the champion for eight rounds.
Mayweather did not win, but he claimed he had a $100 million purse to pay for "legalized bank robbery."
