Floyd Mayweather has announced that his return to the ring was moved from Dubai, Abu Dhabi.

The entire event was canceled due to the death of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE President at 73 years old.

The UAE's Ministry of Presidential Affairs announced a 40-day mourning period and three-day suspension of all ministry work.

After the ring had been put up just hours before cancellation, it left organizers scrambling for a new date.

Mayweather announced that his comeback fight would be held this Saturday, May 21, after a seven-day delay.

Global Titans Fight Series, which he co-promoted, refuted his claims and stated that the event would likely move to October.

Mayweather now offers another update, indicating that his return fight will be on Saturday. This is less than 100 miles away.

He wrote on Instagram: "The fight in #AbuDhabi will take place this Saturday, May 21st.

The expected sandstorm won't stop the event. I am looking forward to performing for my fans, both in person and online.
