FLOYD MAYWEATHER announced that his next exhibition bout will be against MMA Mikuru Inakura in Japan.

The 45-year-old boxing legend announced the news at a Las Vegas press conference. He said that it would take place in Japan in September against the Tokyo native.

Mayweather will face the former RIZIN Featherweight champion at 29 in a bout which is scheduled to air on "RIZIN Fight Pass".

Southpaw Asakura is a winner in 16 of his 20 cage bouts, eight by knockout.

The featherweight was last seen against Yutaka Saito on December 31 at Rizin 33 – Saitama and won by unanimous decision.

Mayweather retired officially in 2017, but has been in three exhibitions since.

The first was against Tenshin Naukawa, a featherweight kickboxer from Tokyo. This was sponsored by RIZIN.

In one round, he defeated Nasukawa (23), to mark his return.

In June 2021, Mayweather faced Logan Paul (27 year old YouTuber) and won TWO STONE.

It made it to the final eight rounds, and Paul technically won't lose.

Mayweather was last seen in the ring in May against Don Moore, his former sparring partner.

The fight was originally planned to take place 700ft above the sea level at a Dubai hotel HELIPAD, but it was scrapped ONE day before.

It was initiated following the passing of Sheikh Khalifa (ex-President of UAE), who died at age 73.

Moore would be dominated by Mayweather a week later in Abu Dhabi.

Now, he will be returning to Japan to join the MMA organization for another exhibition bout.
