Frampton asks John Fury if he was 'playing up the cameras' by confronting his over Tommy vs Jake Paul prediction

CARL FRAMPTON will continue to speak his mind, even though John Fury tried hard to make him fearful.

The 6ft 3in father Tyson Fury confronted Ireland's former two-weight world champion at 5ft 5in last week, following the Gypsy King press conference for Dillian Whyte's April heavyweight clash.

John, 57-year-old, was furious that Frampton, BT Sport pundit, backed Jake Paul to defeat Tommy in their December fight.

John Frampton, 35 years old, refused to give up, despite being flanked with dozens of friends. Frampton also reiterated his belief that Tommy, who had pulled out due to a chest infection, would win.

SunSport spoke to the Belfast hero, saying: "I don’t know if it was him playing up to cameras but I have spoken with John a few time before and we have always gotten on very well."

"But he evidently didn't like me opining on the Tommy Fury fight against Jake Paul - it p **ed off.

"I can understand him fine, he's the dad of the lad and it's just my opinion. It doesn't mean anything.

"John Fury could kick me out of my s***, but I will not stop sharing my honest opinion whenever I'm asked."

Frampton joked that it caused him to go 'to the bathroom to change his pants' but he says he enjoys being a boxing pundit.

The ex-super-bantam and featherweight king said: "I don’t know what conversations are between other pundits or broadcasters, but I have been receiving good feedback."
