In recent years, the UFC and boxing champions have been a constant rivalry. Both are calling each other out.
Francis Ngannou called on the UFC
to support a fight between Tyson Fury and him.
Ngannou is becoming more confident that Ngannou and the other heavyweight stars will meet in a crossover bout.
DAZN was told by Fury that he believed that the fight would happen. Tyson Fury would like that fight to take place, so it will eventually happen.
"I cannot say when it will happen, but I know that it will happen because we are both willing to fight for it."
UFC fighters compete outside of the promotion, except for a special exception.
Conor McGregor (33), was awarded this title in 2017 after his boxing defeat to Floyd Mayweather, 44.

Ngannou defends his title, against Ciryl Gane (31-year-old former training partner), on January 22.
This is Ngannou's last fight under his UFC contract. He has threatened to quit the promotion in the midst of a pay dispute.
He also wants to be able to box if he extends his contract.
When Dana White was asked about Ngannou's possible departure as a free agent following his defense against Gane, he seemed relaxed.
White stated on Teddy Atlas' podcast, "Francis & I bumped into one another the other night at dinner.
We had a great conversation and he is still under contract, even if he wins the fight. He's still available for one more fight.
I say it all the times, this sport is fun for me. This is something I enjoy doing and, contrary to popular belief, it has made many people wealthy.
"If you don’t want to be here, or if this isn’t where you want it to be, then that’s not fun for either of you, and certainly not for me.
