Francis Ngannou to receive Mega Payday for Boxing Match against Anthony Joshua

Ngannou to Face Joshua in Saudi Arabia

Francis Ngannou is on the verge of signing a lucrative eight-figure deal to fight Anthony Joshua in a highly-anticipated crossover bout. The news comes after Ngannou temporarily put his MMA career on hold to take on heavyweight champion Tyson Fury in October. Despite dropping Fury in the fight, Ngannou lost on a controversial points decision. Now, the Cameroonian fighter is ready to step back into the ring and is expecting to make even more money for his upcoming match against Joshua.

Ngannou's Manager Predicts Big Earnings

According to Ngannou's manager, Marquel Martin, the fighter is set to make over $10 million for his bout with Joshua. However, Forbes predicts that after factoring in pay-per-view revenue and additional bonuses, Ngannou could take home at least $20 million. These numbers demonstrate the potential financial windfall that awaits Ngannou in the boxing world.

AJ's Mega Deal with Deontay Wilder Falls Through

While Ngannou is set to earn a significant sum for his fight against Joshua, it's worth noting that AJ himself stands to make even more. Joshua had previously inked a blockbuster deal worth £100 million to face Deontay Wilder. However, Wilder's surprise defeat to Joseph Parker derailed those plans. Joshua, who recently defeated Otto Wallin, was then left to explore other options for his next fight. Ultimately, Ngannou proved to be the most lucrative choice, and the two fighters are now scheduled to headline on Friday, March 8.

Conclusion

Francis Ngannou's upcoming boxing match against Anthony Joshua has the potential to be a record-breaking payday for both fighters. With Ngannou expecting to make over $10 million and Joshua set to earn even more, this crossover bout is sure to draw massive attention and generate significant revenue. Fight fans will be eagerly awaiting the clash between these two heavyweight champions.
