Ngannou's MMA Comeback

Former UFC champion Francis Ngannou is set to make his return to MMA with the Professional Fighters League (PFL) this summer. Despite rumors of a rematch with Tyson Fury in the boxing ring, Ngannou is focused on his upcoming bout with Anthony Joshua.

Switching Sides

Last year, Ngannou left the UFC to join PFL, a rival organization. However, he was granted permission to switch to boxing for a crossover fight against Tyson Fury in Saudi Arabia. Although Ngannou put up a fierce fight and scored a knockdown, he ultimately lost in a controversial split-decision.

Blockbuster Bout

Following his boxing match, Ngannou secured another high-profile fight against Anthony Joshua on March 8 in Saudi Arabia. PFL CEO Peter Murray expressed his support for Ngannou and expects him to return to the MMA cage this summer.

Future Plans

Tyson Fury, on the other hand, had to postpone his title unification fight with Oleksandr Usyk due to a cut sustained during sparring. Fury has named Joshua and Ngannou as his future opponents, stating that he plans to have two fights with Usyk and then face Joshua. He also mentioned the possibility of a rematch with Ngannou.

"I'm 35 years old in the prime of my life," Fury declared, dismissing any retirement rumors.
