Frank Warren confirms that Tommy Fury will face Jake Paul in a PS1m grudge match this December.

Frank Warren confirms that Tommy Fury will face Jake Paul in a PS1m grudge match this December.
Frank Warren confirmed that the fight will be over this week.

After Paul's victory over Tyron Woodley in August, talks about a fight are ongoing.

Frank Warren, Fury's promoter, has confirmed that a deal to bring them together in December is close.

He is hopeful that the contracts will be signed by the end this week during a massive PPV battle on BT Sport.

Warren stated to IFL TV, "At this moment we're working through terms. We're quite close and I hope we can get it over.

It's a great fight. He is very rich from the fight. How can you refuse that offer?

"I believe he wins it. It has captured everybody's imagination. This is what they were talking about in America.

"Hopefully, we'll finish this week so we can move on."

MATCH BITTER GRUDGE

"It will be in the late November, December."

Fury initially turned down a $1 million-plus offer to face his rival in the US later in the year.

The 22-year old, who has an unbeaten 7-1 record, is open to the idea of ending their feud in a ring.

He claimed last month that a bout with the "4-0 American", a former Disney star, was "not worth discussing".

On Instagram, he added: "I just wanted on here to address a few issues that Jake Paul had been saying that I have denied twice to fight him.

"That's true. Those offers were not worth addressing. Now he has made it clear that he wants me to pay him $1m. I just want this to be known.

"To everyone out there, $1m is not worth getting out of bed to watch a fight this big. This fight will gross millions and even millions of dollars.

"I can't walk down the street and not be asked when you are fighting Jake Paul. So until you make a serious offer to fight me, we won't consider fighting pal."
